Parapsychology 1; Agama Yoga Workshops 2019-05-21T13:01:15+00:00

Explore paranormal and psychic phenomena using a rational approach

Understand the connection between Yoga and paranormal powers

Learn to use the power of the mind to harness the subtle energies of the universe

This special and rare workshop at Agama – offered only once in the last 12 years, in 2006 – explores several topics in depth:

  1. clairvoyance (seeing beyond the normal)
  2. astral projection (travel in the astral body, as well as lucid dreaming)
  3. radionics (paranormal technology and devices for scalar waves)

Of course, parapsychology contains many other thrilling subjects of study which could possibly be included in future workshops.

Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, with a background in physics and engineering, believes that parapsychology can be an important eye-opener and positive argument for Yoga and spiritual practice. At Agama we are aware of the powers of the mind and of the subtle energies of nature. We acknowledge the difficulties and doubts of beginners in getting acquainted with this way of understanding the universe. Parapsychology can be a most useful bridge between our Western way of thinking and the subtle mysteries of the Yogic world because it starts from what is known and understood scientifically and relies on experiment and reason.

We will outline the connections between the practice and methods of Yoga and other scientific techniques for training in these exceptional fields of parapsychology.

The First Level Intensive Course is a highly recommended prerequisite since no clarifications will be given for beginner topics such as resonance, chakras, energy etc.

ABOUT AGAMA YOGA, KOH PHANGAN THAILAND

Nature is constantly blessing Koh Phangan with blue skies, breathtaking sunsets and short, refreshing rain showers to cool down the tropical weather.

Agama is the pioneer of Yoga on the tropical island paradise of Koh Phangan, Thailand. The school was founded on the island in 2003 by Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, a Yogi for over 30 years who has dedicated his life to teaching an authentic form of Hatha Yoga in a modern scientific approach.

Agama believes that there should be a bridge between spirituality and rational thinking, and classes are taught accordingly. The teachings are easy to implement in daily life and are often adopted immediately by students.
