YOGIC METAPHYSICS FUSION
Cultivate aspiration and achieve a deep understanding of an authentic Yogic path.
Led by Senior Agama Teachers: Muktananda, and Dharmananda
The Yogic Metaphysics Fusion combines Agama’s Metaphysics Workshop, and The Third Eye Intensive Practice.
Metaphysics is the forgotten element of spiritual life. It represents the vertical dimension of spirituality, addressing the fate of the human soul. In today’s New Age environment, a fascination with occult science, magic, and shamanism leads people horizontally through life without a genuine spiritual basis. Metaphysics leads us to a practice that defines our position in the universe – why we are here. It is the main motivator in spiritual practice, without which there is no drive.
The metaphysics workshop is a spiritual eye-opener that is meant to cultivate aspiration, highlight the existential condition, and give a meaning to and ground for true spiritual practice. It can change your life, opening a new door with the right motivation and understanding for spiritual practice.
In this experimental, experiential introduction to spiritual practices, the theory will be complemented with practical examples and illustrations, such as music meditation, void meditation from Tibetan Buddhist Yoga, asanas (Yoga postures), wisdom from Gnostic Christianity, teachings from Tantra Yoga, readings from Paramahansa Yogananda, and Swami Vivekananda’s own materials.
Topics covered include:
- Excerpts from traditional texts
- Fundamental existential questions
- Reincarnation
- Karma
- Parallel universes
- Evolution
- Liberation
Agama Third Eye Intensive Practice-
This unique meditation retreat presents special techniques from Indian and Tibetan Yoga for the opening and energizing of the third eye (also called ajna chakra), as an alternative pathway for access to divine spiritual reality.
Both The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and The Bhagavad Gita present the third eye as one of the great solutions for the spiritual emancipation of the human being. Many Yoga traditions refer to the third eye as a chakra (one of the seven energy centers in the body) that confers states of enlightenment. Both the Indian and Tibetan yogis have created techniques for developing the third eye and achieving spiritual realization through it.
During this retreat, attention, energy and spiritual effort will be continuously directed toward the third eye.
Our approach will include:
- Body-centered techniques and Hatha Yoga
- Pranayama (breathing exercises)
- Mudras and bandhas (special Yoga techniques)
- Visualization
- Mantras (Yoga of sound resonance)
- Music meditation
- The use of emotions
- Other traditional methods
During this retreat you can expect to immerse yourself fully in this fascinating practice of the third eye, the seat of both spiritual realization and great mental accomplishments.

Agama is the pioneer of Yoga on the tropical island paradise of Koh Phangan, Thailand. The school was founded on the island in 2003 by Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, a Yogi for over 30 years who has dedicated his life to teaching an authentic form of Hatha Yoga in a modern scientific approach.
Agama believes that there should be a bridge between spirituality and rational thinking, and classes are taught accordingly. The teachings are easy to implement in daily life and are often adopted immediately by students.
