Immerse yourself in practices from Kashmiri Shaivism, the roots of Tantra
Gain a deep experience of rare and powerful meditation methods
Integrate the teachings of this non-dual philosophy in your being
Agama Yoga’s teachings on Kashmiri Shaivism are legendary among both beginning students and seasoned practitioners alike, and the workshop on this subject is beloved as a perennial source of spiritual enlightenment and inspiration for attendees. Those who have been brought into contact with these amazing teachings naturally wish to experience them deeply and intensely. For this reason, Agama offers an eight-day Kashmiri Shaivism retreat with Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, where students can deepen their practice of these teachings. In a classical silent meditation retreat format, the Shaivist teachings and methods will be practically explored and applied in an intensive, supportive atmosphere in which the participants can fully immerse themselves.
This retreat features the exclusive practice of Kashmiri Yoga techniques. These esoteric meditation methods of the Shaivas include prana ucchara, shudavikalpa methods, use of mentalization and emotions (bhavana), the fundamental monistic meditation (“I am”), the mandala of the trident, and others not distinctly spelled out here. This lineage, representing one of the world’s spiritual treasures, casts an incredible spiritual resonance with sahasrara, the crown chakra. Join us for this deep practical journey into the supremely elevated Kashmiri Shaivist teachings.
Prerequisites: Prior participation in the Introduction to Kashmiri Shaivism Workshop is mandatory.
RETREAT HOURS ARE DAILY- 07:30-11:30 / 16:30-20:30

Nature is constantly blessing Koh Phangan with blue skies, breathtaking sunsets and short, refreshing rain showers to cool down the tropical weather.
Agama is the pioneer of Yoga on the tropical island paradise of Koh Phangan, Thailand. The school was founded on the island in 2003 by Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, a Yogi for over 30 years who has dedicated his life to teaching an authentic form of Hatha Yoga in a modern scientific approach.
Agama believes that there should be a bridge between spirituality and rational thinking, and classes are taught accordingly. The teachings are easy to implement in daily life and are often adopted immediately by students.
